  • Escaping the unknown CHAPTER 4

I woke up in a strange place. I didn't know where I was. I was so sweaty. It was really hot. Everything was all...blurry. I couldn't see anything. My vision started to clear and i looked around me. Well, for starters, I was not free, that was for sure. I was locked to a chair. Not tied with rope, chains. Who did they think I was, the hulk? That was beside the point. The walls were white. The floor was cement, white cement. The ceiling was...black. That was kind of different. Of course it was...everything today was different. Nothing today was believable. I started to think. What was there to think about anyways. I started to get a headache, again. I thought i'd better stop. The door that was to my right started to unlock. The knob started to turn. My breathing started to get heavier. I was scared. The door opened and the creature that looked like bigfoot walked in. What was it with bigfoot? Wasn't bigfoot supposed to be a legend? My mind wandered. The creature was even taller than my estimation. It looked taller up close. How could it even fit into the room? I guess the ceiling was farther away from the top of my head than I thought too. I couldn't tell with the black. The creature cleared it's throat. Ok...what kind of creature clears its throat? Am I going nuts? Maybe it's the heat...I woke up...again? What world am i in? I was in my school...Oh, crap...here we go again...I woke up...this time in my room. What kind of trick was this? I started to hear a voice. It was calling my name. Then...once again, I was back in that room again, but this time, I wasn't chained up against a chair. "Well, well," The creature said. I just looked at it. It had a deep voice so I considered it as a him. He looked straight at me with his red eyes.

    "Yes?" i said.

"What do you think is happening to you? I bet you think that you're going crazy aren't you?" he said. I cleared my throat. "Well...you figure it out, and I'll get your answer when you know it." I was suddenly back in geometry. It was like nothing had happened. I opened my binder once again. There was a different note from Chace. It said:

I told you. You are so lucky he didn't kill you. Don't go home for anything. He waits out there outside of the city, because no one is there to save you. When I saw you in the car, and the letters came up on the window, I thought you were already dead. You are lucky. I think he is waiting to torture you. We have to meet, soon. Leave at noon, but DON'T GO HOME. You'll know me. I know you will. Trust me this time
